Quick traveller evictions from derelict sites
A furniture manufacturer contacted us after being referred from a previous client. They had a problem with caravans on one of their derelict sites on the West Yorkshire / Lancashire border and instructed us to conduct an immediate eviction of the vehicles.
Two of our bailiffs attended and found three caravans, four vans and a car. They spoke to the travellers and gave them two hours to leave. The group initially said they wouldn’t leave for almost a week and then requested until the end of the week. Both requests were declined by our bailiffs on site, who reiterated they needed to leave that day.
When they knew that the time on site wouldn’t be extended, the travellers started packing up and moving on. The site was clear in under two hours and a representative from the client arrived to secure the site. Our client was delighted with the quick service.
Business park traveller eviction
In the same week, we were instructed by one of our clients to move one traveller caravan from a business park in Shropshire. It was a Friday afternoon and the client was concerned that more would arrive and stay the weekend. This is a site that we had cleared before. From receiving the instruction from our client to the site being cleared took less than two hours.
